No. We do not recommend sharing phone numbers, email addresses, or any personal contact information during the event.
After the event, you’ll receive a list of the people you met with and choose to match or pass. Only mutual matches move forward.
If there’s a mutual match, we’ll facilitate the connection for you to continue the conversation—safely—through direct messages inside The Dating Project app.
Do I have to reject people I don’t want to connect with?
No. There’s no need to reject anyone in real time.

Will there be breaks during the event?
Yes. After each interaction, you’ll have the option to take a short break. When you’re ready, you’ll confirm and be placed back into the queue for the next conversation.
Do I have to keep talking to someone if I’m not feeling it?
If I really like someone should I ask for their personal information?
No. If the conversation isn’t a fit or the vibe isn’t there, you can end the interaction early. You’ll be placed back into the queue to meet someone else—no pressure and no awkward exits.
Is this event awkward or uncomfortable?
Not at all. Conversations are timed, and structured to make the experience feel natural and low-pressure—even if you’re introverted or nervous.
Are people actually serious about their faith?
No. We don’t recommend asking for personal information.

Is there an age requirement?
All SpeedMeet participants must be 18 years old or older. If you are registering for an age-specific event, you will need to be within the age range listed on the event.
What happens after the event?
How do I enter the event?
SpeedMeet is a paired event. Unless instructed otherwise, each participant must be accompanied by the person they invited—or the person who invited them and they must be of the opposite sex. Both participants must be signed in using their unique sign-in link before being admitted.
If your paired participant does not show up, you’ll be placed on a waitlist until you can be paired with another participant of the opposite sex.
After the event, you’ll receive a list of the people you met with and choose to match or pass.
If there’s mutual interest, you’ll have the opportunity to continue the connection through The Dating Project app. There’s no obligation—only clarity and choice.
Are my order and card information secure?
Yes! Your order and card information are 100% secure. We’ve carefully selected leading 256-bit encrypted technology to protect all your payment information.
Is my spot guaranteed?
What if I’m unable to make it to the event?
Yes—once you register and both you and your paired participant are signed in you will both be admitted into the event.
Do I need to create a profile in The Dating Project App?
No problem. If you’re unable to attend, your ticket will be credited toward another SpeedMeet event.
Ticket purchases are non-refundable, and credits must be used within 30 days of purchase.
Yes—you will need to have a profile in The Dating Project app to continue conversations with the people you match with after the event. Download The Dating Project app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store to create a free account.
